Data Engineer – Core tasks:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and databases while driving continuous improvement and refining processes.
• Work closely with various teams to define solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including audit readiness.
• Push automation ensure data processes are monitored with the aim being to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

Data Engineer – Tech Needed:

• Azure (including DevOps, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Bicep (for Azure deployment scripting)
• Python (for data processing and automation)
• SQL Server (experience with database management)
• Database Testing (knowledge of testing practices and tools for databases)
• Agile (experience working in Agile methodologies)
• Best Practices (adherence to data engineering best practices in coding, performance, and architecture)
• JIRA, R, Stata & Snowflake would be a bonus but not necessary
