This company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding in-house development team. Working within an agile environment with a culture that promotes collaboration, this role offers the opportunity to work across the full stack while mentoring junior developers. As a senior member of the team, you’ll not only make a significant impact on software solutions that improve care, but also have the chance to guide and develop junior engineers, fostering growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with a diverse range of technologies and platforms.
Contribute to shaping standards, documentation, and roadmaps.
Champion best practices across design, engineering, performance, and security.
Play a pivotal role in a small, motivated team with immediate and impactful contributions.

Ideal Experience:

At least 5 years in software engineering.
Proficiency with JavaScript/Typescript in Node.js applications.
Experience designing and developing REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Skilled in building accessible front-end UIs and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure.
Strong foundation in designing and optimising database systems and business logic.
Leadership skills with a desire to mentor junior team members.
Expertise in technical writing and effective communication.
Experience with AWS and working in regulated industries.
Familiarity with healthcare software, including patient records and APIs.
Involvement in scaling services to meet growing user bases, ensuring high performance.
