QA Engineer

Location | Workplace policy: 100% Remote!

Salary: Up to £50k - £55k (DOE)

We are working with an exciting SaaS company that is revolutionizing the way we interact with our alerts daily through some amazing technology and a niche in the market for which they have quickly made a name for themselves.

Having advanced past the start-up stage, the company is scaling up rapidly in line with increased market share and is looking for an awesome freethinking QA Engineer to ensure high standards are met and maintained in line with customer demands.

Key responsibilities:

• Work alongside the dev team and ensure QA & testing strategies are upheld
• Oversee testing cycles and the release of products
• Work diligently to ensure automation is pushed throughout the business
• Prepare technical reports, diagrams, and presentations to demonstrate and disseminate solutions

Key skills needed:

• Relevant commercial experience in automated and manual testing
• Exemplary application testing across web and mobile
• Familiarity with cypress
• Experience using API tools (Karate, Postman)
• Able to create and optimise automated testing strategies integrated within CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable working in agile environments whilst planning sprints in JIRA
• Skilled in a multitude of languages and frameworks (Swift, Kotlin, Javascript, Typescript)
• Basic understanding of JMeter & Blacemeter would be highly advantageous but not required
• Experience managing product tests and release cycles
